Originally hailing from “The Big Apple”, NYC DJ’s has been operating in Los Angeles since 2002. We mix the best “party ingredients” from both coasts—to create a unique party that’s “second to none”!

  Service

Since 1990, we’ve entertained at thousands of events of all shapes and sizes. Whether you’re planning a simple low-key gathering, or a full blown production, you’ll always receive the same care and attention to detail, no matter how big the dollar sign is attached to your event.

  Music

Sure, we carry over 60,000 songs…and with our wifi-hotspot, we have access to almost every song in the world 🙂 But anyone with smartphone can claim that. The important thing is knowing which of those songs to play, to keep your guests engaged and excited. Our DJ’s know exactly how to keep the party flowing by utilizing strategic song selection, and employing expert mix techniques to keep your guests rockin’ all night long.

   Equipment

We only use professional grade state-of-the-art sound equipment, delivering CRYSTAL CLEAR digital sound. So, your guests will never be “blasted” with noise. And with our wireless mics, you can enjoy toasts and speeches from anywhere in the room. Also, every piece of equipment we carry has a backup unit, so that we’re prepared for any “unplanned” event.

  Style

Don’t worry, we won’t embarrass you. We know how to have fun without being “cheesy.” Sure, we’ll being the “Macarena” and “The Chicken Dance” but we don’t plan on playing it—unless you request it. No glitzy vests, flashy bow-ties, greased hair, or ridiculous nicknames like “DJ Snake!”

  Interaction

If you desire, we can warm your guests up with line dances, dinner games and contests, trivia about YOU, name that tune, or several other icebreakers—whatever fits your needs. We’ll do whatever is necessary to get your party started—YOUR way!

  Planning

If you have a coordinator, we are happy to work with them. If not, we will help you organize a timeline, music requests and all formalities prior to your event. We will also communicate with your caterer and other vendors, so that everything flows extra smooth. We always stay a few steps ahead so that you can relax and enjoy.

Meet our DJs

DJ Danny Farrell

DJ/Owner

Danny has been in the DJ business since the early 90’s. His goal is to put an end to the “cheesy mobile DJ.” Previous clients include Sony, HBO, Bloomingdales, Nickelodeon, and several movie premieres and all types of private parties (such as Eddie Murphy’s Wedding). Danny has also hosted at Club Med, Turkoise. He was voted one of the “TOP 10 DJ’s IN LA” by CBS Online. He’s taught various styles of dance, such as salsa, swing, and various follow-along dances. He can also engage guests in numerous games and contests, and has performed live comedy in NY and LA. You can check out some of his jokes at www.dannyfarrell.com. Danny ensures that each party has excitement, without taking focus away from the guest(s) of honor. His music selection and organization skills guarantee that each event flows seamlessly. Besides being a high-energy MC, Danny also knows how to roll up his sleeves and mix beats with the best of ‘em!


DJ Jason

MC/DJ

Jason has always had a passion for music and the entertainment arena. With a performance degree, over 12 years of experience as a DJ/MC, and over 2,000 parties under his belt, you can be sure he is able to handle any event and crowd flawlessly. When he’s not DJing events, he’s performing as the lead singer in his Duran Duran cover band “Rio”, so he’s literally a “rockstar”. His personality and professionalism ensure that your event will be a fantastic night to remember.


DJ Will

MC/DJ

DJ Will has been a DJ, a dancer, and an emcee for over 10 years. He loves motivating people to celebrate. As a DJ, he prides myself on his ability to tell stories through seamless transitions and drops. As a dancer, he knows everyone has a little rhythm within; his job is to provide a comfortable environment where that rhythm can come out! As an emcee, Will uses character and charisma to inspire good times. His #1 rule is that its never his show. At every event, he’s there to lift up and celebrate the honored. They are #1. Past clients include MTV, Lancome, Quicken Loans, Stunt Run 5K, and Hollywood Half Marathon.

DJ Phillip

MC/DJ

Phillip began DJ’ing at the age of 17 years old in metro Detroit. After years of DJing and MCing nightclubs, weddings, and corporate events, The Michigan State University graduate relocated to Los Angeles in early 2009. DJ Phillip’s passion for all genres and his “Open Format” mixing style makes his sets a music lover’s dream. When he’s not DJing, he’s busy in film production, and hosting his own podcast in LA. He has a passion for all genres of music. Phillip is also a founding member of the DJ Collective Group #DirtyFaceMusic, based out of Southern California.


DJ Oscar

MC/DJ

As a young boy, Oscar started playing with DJ equipment, and fell in love with the artistic form of “Mixing”. He realized that if you mix the right songs together—and do it seamlessly; the crowd will never stop dancing. Oscar has continued to move crowds and play for a wide variety of clients throughout Southern California. He’s a chameleon and can easily adapt to any type of event. In addition, he speaks fluent Spanish and knows Latin music very well. With over 2,000 events under his belt, and having performed for Celebrities like David O. Russell, Rob Reiner, Mira Sorvino, Quentin Tarantino and Carl Karcher.


DJ Ethan

MC/DJ

DJ Ethan began his DJ career at the age of 15. Since then, he’s DJ’s hundreds of nightclubs, events, wedding receptions, bar mitzvahs, wrap parties, and more. He’s a graduate of Princeton University, where he founded the Princeton Entertainment Agency, which quickly became the preferred vendor for all events…on or off campus. Ethan is known for his ability to read the crowd, and blend genres of music to fit any demographic. He’s also a 2x All American Athlete, musician and professional dancer, and has shared the stage with Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Justin Timberlake, and Robin Thicke…what a showoff! Just kidding, Ethan 😉
